Unfortunately, all it does is import all objects on to one layer and fails to bring in the colours which creates an enormous amount of back work. The Australian company iConstruct has a plug-in to Navisworks that has a module that allows exporting directly to DWG, it even allows the user to section plane and slice the model prior to export.ĪutoCAD imports FBX but it's broken in a way that it's supposed to import all the colours of objects and place them on their own layer. There is a solution however, but it's expensive though it does work very very well when I tested it last year. RedWa圓D version 4.1 supports FBX but Bricsys says they have no plans to move to this new version. Navisworks can export FBX (Filmbox) and DWFx 3D, neither of these formats can be imported into BricsCAD.
